DescriptionThis B-luc EL4 cell line expresses firefly luciferase as a marker of EL4 cells. Luminescence can be observed B-luc EL4 cells.
Gene targeting strategy for B-luc EL4. The luciferase cDNA sequence with CAG promoter was inserted in the ROSA26 intron1 of wild-type EL4.
Luminescence signal intensity of B-luc EL4 cells. Luminescence intensity was measured using the Bright-GloTM luciferase Assay (Promega, Cat E2610). B-luc EL4 cells have a strong luminescence signal. The 1-E2 clone of B-luc EL4 cells can be used in vivo experiments.
Tumor growth and in vivo imaging of B-luc EL4 cells. B-luc EL4 cells (2x105) were injected by tail vein into C57BL/6 mice (female, 7-8 week-old, n=5). Signal intensity and body weight were measured twice a week. (A) Imaging was performed on days 0, 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, and 27, (B) Mice body weight (Mean ± SEM). B-luc EL4 cells can be used for in vivo efficacy evalsuation.
